<p>Will every victim of a truck accident search for a &#8220;truck accident lawyer&#8221;? Not likely. Instead, some may search for a variation of the term or drop the &#8220;accident&#8221; and search for &#8220;truck lawyers&#8221;.</p>
<p>You cannot predict which keywords a potential client will use to search for you, so the best thing you can do is increase the amount of keywords you appear on Google for. The example below shows traffic from 657 different keywords in a 31 day period or just over 21 different keywords per day.</p>

<p>[<strong>Former Clients</strong>] Davis &amp; <a title="Workers Comp Lawyers" href="http://ncworkerscomp.com/" target="_blank">McCabe</a> was the <a title="Lawyer and Attorney Marketing" href="http://lawyermarketinggroup.com">Lawyer Marketing Group&#8217;s</a> first legal client.  After years of frustration with the industry leader in law firm marketing, Brian Davis and <a title="John McCabe, Workers Compensation Lawyers" href="http://ncworkerscomp.com/contact" target="_blank">John McCabe</a> approached us with one simple request&#8230; get us on the first page of Google and do it for less.  A tall order when competing against the largest marketing firm in the country, but we were willing to take on the challenge.</p>
<p>Our first task was to convert their convoluted CM/Custom/____.asp directory structure into an open, internet-friendly programming language (PHP) and open database (MySQL) which was not only lightweight and properly structured, but more importantly Google-friendly.  We integrated a nimble <a title="Free Content Management System" href="http://snewscms.com/" target="_blank">content management system</a> which allowed for quick content updating (an on-going challenge they experienced with their former SEO firm).</p>
<p>Once the new site was ready, we paired our organic SEO techniques with a Cost-Per-Click (CPC) campaign through <a title="Google AdWords" href="http://www.google.com/adwords/" target="_blank">Google AdWords</a>.  This campaign was designed to off-set the links they received from the industry leader&#8217;s directories while our organic techniques were able to take hold.</p>
<p>Before long our organic search engine optimization was demonstrating success and the AdWords campaign was retired.</p>
<p><strong>Mission accomplished:</strong> The small, nimble <a title="Lawyer Marketing and SEO" href="http://lawyermarketinggroup.com">Lawyer Marketing Group</a> from Chapel Hill was able to compete with and beat the industry leader for keyword placement on the first page of Google while doing it for half the price.</p>
<p>These former clients closed their joint practice at the end of 2008.  <a title="Lawyer: Workers Compensation" href="http://ncworkerscomp.com" target="_blank">John McCabe</a> remains a client of ours today.</p>

<p>[<strong>Former clients</strong>] Greg McEwen and Pete Kestner contacted the <a title="Lawyer Marketing and SEO" href="http://lawyermarketinggroup.com">Lawyer Marketing Group</a> to create a new site for their trucking injury practice.  Our job was to design a new logo and site design which was standards compliant, search engine friendly, and could be managed through an easy-to-use <a title="sNews: Best Content Management System" href="http://snewscms.com/" target="_blank">content management system</a>.  Our new design allowed for easy integration of Google Maps, multiple Contact Forms and Blogging capabilities.</p>
<p>Our former clients also wanted to take advantage of &#8220;23&#8243; additional related-keyword domains they owned.  Our solution was to use the same design for all sites, maintain semi-unique, minimal content on each and link back to their main site &#8211; driving all traffic to one location. Doing this can be risky and ultimately cause negative search engine positioning if the firm and marketing group isn&#8217;t careful. Law firms and <a title="SEO for Law Firms" href="http://lawyermarketinggroup.com">SEO companies</a> should limit the amount of duplicated content across multiple sites.  Additionally, careful consideration should be made in domain name selection and organizational structure when working with multiple sites.</p>
<p>While their account was active, we had tremendous success with <strong>keyword</strong> combinations of truck/trucking  +/- accident(s) +/- lawyer(s)/attorney(s).  A screencast demonstrating their <strong>first page of Google</strong> success was taken back in Febuary, 2011.</p>
