[Former clients] Greg McEwen and Pete Kestner contacted the Lawyer Marketing Group to create a new site for their trucking injury practice. Our job was to design a new logo and site design which was standards compliant, search engine friendly, and could be managed through an easy-to-use content management system. Our new design allowed for easy integration of Google Maps, multiple Contact Forms and Blogging capabilities.
Our former clients also wanted to take advantage of “23″ additional related-keyword domains they owned. Our solution was to use the same design for all sites, maintain semi-unique, minimal content on each and link back to their main site – driving all traffic to one location. Doing this can be risky and ultimately cause negative search engine positioning if the firm and marketing group isn’t careful. Law firms and SEO companies should limit the amount of duplicated content across multiple sites. Additionally, careful consideration should be made in domain name selection and organizational structure when working with multiple sites.
While their account was active, we had tremendous success with keyword combinations of truck/trucking +/- accident(s) +/- lawyer(s)/attorney(s). A screencast demonstrating their first page of Google success was taken back in Febuary, 2011.
